That you might not be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin . . .

This last Sunday night, I probably had the absolute best time of fellowship I have had in a long time. After church, a bunch of people went to the Paasch house to hang out. We shared food, embarrassing moments, and much more. We began to sing to the Lord and then we shared where we were all at in our relationship with God. I felt overwhelmed by God’s grace and goodness to me a sinner. I was encouraged and reminded why fellowship is so important.

Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.”

I was convicted to not keep living a passionless life for Jesus. He should be all that I desire. I prayed with a song we sang, that the Holy Spirit would “fall fresh on me,” and that I didn’t want anything but Him. Needless to say, this week I have been so much more on fire for Him.
